Q./ Small Children and Car Seats?

A./ We do not have any problems carrying small children, But we MUST point out that any small or young child that by law requires a booster seat or car seat, must use one whilst in our cars. We Will Not travel with any children sitting on passengers laps for safety and legal reasons. We therefore ask that should you have the need for any young children to travel with us, that you supply the necessary seats and that one of your party are responsible for the securing of the seats and the child in it. Any questions please ask.

Q./  What is included in the wedding package?  

A./  Basic weddings  £140 up to £300 all dependant on package, car chosen and mileage involved,  includes Car, suited driver, ribbons and bows (to suit your colour choice) Champagne for after your Ceremony There are numerous Regulations that professional wedding car companies have to adhere to. One of them being the supplying of Champagne or any Alcohol.

 

The law states with the Licensing Act 2003 that No wedding car company can legally supply Champagne even if its claimed to be a Wedding Gift /Complimentary /Free or anything else unless that company has a licence to sell Alcohol.

 

Fortunately though we can serve Champagne to you after your ceremony if the Champagne is provided to us. We would be pleased to serve Champagne in the car as we leave en route to the reception. We just need to get a bottle or half a bottle of Champagne from you at the pick up. We will do the rest supplying glass Champagne flutes, a cooler and some ice packs.

 

We also offer the option of a 15/20 minute Champagne drive out after your ceremony in the car with champagne supplied by the wedding venue if your wedding is all at a single location. (Small Additional cost - please ask for details)

 

Care should be taken by you not to supply any Beverage that could possibly stain. We cannot be responsible for any spillage on Wedding attire whist in our Wedding Cars.

Q./  How far in advance should I contact you? 

A./  Weddings are often booked at least 12 months in advance so book and reserve your chosen car as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Although we are also happy to help with any last-minute transport arrangements, subject to vehicle availability.       

Q./  Is there a minimum rental time?                               

A./   No, its your wedding so we work to your plans and wishes.           

Q./  Is there a maximum rental time?                               

A./  No, we will provide the transport for as long as you require it, although this needs to be agreed in writing before the day.          

Q./  Are there any additional services?                               

A./  Yes: We appreciate that apart from the Bridal car there are other important people who may also require transport. With this in mind we also provide wedding cars for bridesmaids, mother of the bride, maids of honour, groom and best man, as well as the grooms parents. Depending on the scale of your requirements we can also supply cars to take bride and bridesmaids to and from hairdressers prior to getting ready. Once the evening is over we can also then transport the bride and groom to a hotel or provide honeymoon transport to and from airport seaport     

Q./  Is it possible to have more than one trip if we only hire one car?

A./  Yes of course we can arrange whatever service you require and it may well be that multiple trips is the best solution for you.

Q./  Do you charge per hour or per event? 

A./  We charge Per event, as each and every wedding is different we like to discuss your true needs and determine your vehicle requirements exactly, so you are under no time pressure. We can also make sure that every member of your main wedding party are catered for with transport making sure everyone is on time for your big day.  This is explained in detail on your individual booking form.           

Q./  What are the forms of payment?                               

A./  We accept Cheque or Bank Transfer (This seems most popular as so many people now use online banking) A deposit is all that's required to make your booking and reserve your car the balance can be paid later, to be agreed at time of booking but must be paid 1 month before the date of the wedding. 

Q./  What areas do you cover ?

A./ We are based in Weston Super Mare and cover a 90 mile radius roughly and therefore cover the South Gloucestershire, Bristol, Somerset and surrounding areas, such as, Weston-super-Mare, Clevedon, Nailsea, Portishead, Burnham-on-Sea, Bridgwater, Taunton and Yeovil. HOWEVER, we are happy to travel further but the price will obviously reflect this extra distance. 

Q./  Can the car take the Bridesmaids to the church first?

A./  Yes.  We are totally flexible to your needs and we can make as many trips with the same car that you require. Although we need to agree this at the booking stage so that we make sure that the day goes according to plan timing wise.

Q./ When does each car need to arrive at the ceremony and the venue?

 The traditional plan of arrival and departure is as below:-

  • The ushers travel to the ceremony first
  • The guests then start to arrive
  • The groom & best man should arrive next
  • The bridesmaids & mother of the bride then arrive
  • The bride & her father are the last to arrive
  • The bride & groom then leave for the reception first followed by the rest of the bridal party and then the guests
