Terms and Conditions

Protocol Wedding Cars has an unrivalled reputation for Service and Quality, We have performed countless successful weddings over the years, although we feel it only right to outline our Terms and Conditions as they do form part of your wedding car agreement.

We take pride in our cars and every car leaves us fully cleaned and valeted ready for your event.  We are unable to guarantee that the car will be 100% clean on arrival to your pick up point, especially  if the distance travelled from our offices is of any great length, or the weather is bad or indeed the roads are mucky and wet. However, we will utilise any spare time before leaving for the actual wedding venue, making every effort to clean off the worst of any fresh dirt that may have occurred.

The Assumed details of every booking are sent in writing prior to receiving a deposit. It is the customers responsibility to check and verify that all the details, dates, times and addresses, together with contact numbers, are correct before signing and returning with their deposit. The booking will then be accepted based on the times and dates etc as per this booking form. The Booking will only become confirmed once the deposit paid becomes cleared funds.

For ALL weddings any outstanding balance MUST be paid in full at least 30 days prior to your wedding date.

The deposit is non-refundable.

Any cancellations must be received in writing at least one calendar month prior to the hire date.  The full outstanding balance is payable if a cancellation is received within one calendar month of the hire date.

In the unlikely event that we are unable to provide the booked car for reasons beyond our control, an alternative car will be used.  Any cost difference will be refunded.

All of our cars are maintain to a very high standard and condition, but in the unlikely event that the car booked is unable to complete the journey due to mechanical failure, accident or any other cause whatsoever, then whilst we will make every effort to provide a satisfactory alternative  or agree a financial settlement.  No liability will be accepted by us for any consequential loss.

In the unlikely event our car should breakdown on the day, depending on timing etc we would attempt to get another Wedding Car to the location as soon as possible and then offer you a refund if you felt unhappy about the situation or our efforts to resolve the problem.  The amount refunded will not exceed the value of the booking for that particular car.

Although we will endeavour to meet deadlines we accept no responsibility for any delays, however caused. No responsibility will be accepted for restrictions relating to vehicle access at any location. In the event of any poor or extreme weather we hold no responsibility for any damages caused by this.

The customer is responsible for the conduct of all passengers. The driver may terminate the booking if the client or passengers cause excessive delays are disorderly or, in the drivers' judgement are unfit to travel. Please also note, ALL of Protocol Wedding Cars are non smoking vehicles, should you have an extensive journey and feel the need to smoke, our drivers can be asked to make a short stop on route to facilitate this request.

All of our chauffeurs both Male and Female will be dressed smartly as you would expect..

Small children travelling ,we would ask you to provide your own booster seats, as no doubt you will require them at a later date when leaving the venue. We will not transport infants on passengers laps, they must occupy a seat space by means of either a car seat or booster seat. This must be provided by the hirer and also the hirer must be responsible for fitting the seat and the child into it. Should  you require us to carry anything in the vehicles boot, we are happy to accommodate and our drivers will happily help with this, but please give the items to the driver so that they can load and unload these items for you, please refrain from attempting to load or unload any items yourself, as we are not responsible for any injury, damage to clothing, or any other effect from this action.  Should any large items be required to be moved like wheelchairs etc, this needs to be pre-discussed at time of booking to make certain that they will fit in the boot as the cars are all saloon cars.

Bookings are accepted only on the understanding that the client understands and accepts the above terms and conditions of contract and payment of the deposit signifies such acceptance.
